Are you ready for the largest must have beauty products roundup you may ever see me create!? All right! Let's dive straight into it:
I got all of these products from my local Target and Sephora stores (although many of them would be available at Ulta or another beauty supplier).
SEPHORA MULTITASKER COMPLEXION BRUSH (45)
This brush is seriously LIFE. You can use it for your powder, your foundation (if you wanted to), your concealer, all of it. I personally prefer a beauty sponge for wet items, such as my concealer (and sometimes even a coat of translucent powder), but it does work like a charm for loose translucent powder. $24.
Side note: I don't recommend purchasing a beauty sponge at Sephora under the BEAUTYBLENDER line--these are ridiculously expensive. I'm not paying $18 for a micro mini sponge (the size of my thumb), not to mention $20-28 for normal size. You're better off buying one of these from Target or Ulta from a different brand for $6, in my opinion. Real Techniques is a great alternative brand.
SEPHORA PRO SMALL BLUSH BRUSH (74)
I use this smaller brush for all of my secondary applications: blush, bronze, highlight. It's soft and very bendable which is perfect when you really want to blend out the application. Along with the multitasker brush, these two are staples for a simple beauty routine. $30.
NYX HIGHLIGHT & CONTOUR PRO PALETTE
A great alternative for those who can't afford a NARS or Becca item - this NYX palette is half the price. With 8 very generous sized pieces to this palette, you can't go wrong. The lightest highlight is a great dupe for Becca. $24.99.
ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS BROW WHIZ
I really like the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Whiz crayon and have used it for at least two weeks now, however, it didn't live up to the hype that I was expecting after hearing many YouTube beauty gurus rave about it for years. Any simple brow pencil could do pretty much the same thing and I got similar results with my Mary Kay Brow Definer pencil. I might want to try a pomade next (or the Anastasia Brow Definer). The Brow Whiz sells at $21.
NARS TRANSLUCENT LIGHT REFLECTING SETTING POWDER
Who else loves NARS!? Raise your hand! This was a fabulous investment, however I'm not sure I would go with loose powder again if I had the choice. NARS sells their translucent powder in both loose and pressed formulas. Either one is fine, I'm sure, I just assume it takes much more loose powder to create a seamless finish vs. pressed with a damp beauty sponge. $37.
BECCA SHIMMERING SKIN PERFECTOR (HIGHLIGHT)
I love Becca highlights! Ever since I started watching Jaclyn Hill on YouTube, I've been crying over these shimmery highlights. It was smart that Jaclyn collaborated with them on her color, "Champagne Pop". However, Jaclyn is a tan gal and her highlight color isn't the best suited for my porcelain tone, so I opted for "Moonstone" in pressed formula and LOVE IT. $38.
ELF TRANSLUCENT MATTIFYING POWDER
A great alternative to the NARS translucent powder, elf is incredibly affordable and I've heard many beauty gurus rave about this palette! $3.99.
ELF POWDER BLUSH PALETTE IN DARK
Can we talk about the pigment of these colors in this palette!? Another one of Jaclyn's favorite drugstore products, the elf blush palettes are amazing quality for their price. Their powder blush palettes come in both light and dark, but I prefer the dark for some extra POP! $6.
WET N WILD COLOR ICON BLUSHES
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE both of the colors of the Wet n Wild Color Icon Blush that I picked up from Target! I went with the Pearlescent Pink (325B) and Mellow Wine (328B). Pink has more of a glittery, shimmery hue and Wine is a bit more matte and deep. Depending on the occasion, both of these are must-haves. $2.99/ea.
REVLON COLORSTAY LIPLINER
I'm not gonna lie to you: I'm still getting the hang of lipliners. I dunno what it is, but it doesn't come naturally to me. Just like eyeliner. I decided to invest in two colors of ColorStay that I thought would be fabulous for fall: Pink/Rose and Plum/Prune. We'll see how I do. $7.49/ea.
L'OREAL TRUE MATCH LUMI CUSHION FOUNDATION
These foundation gives me WINGS. Forget Red Bull! I'm the color N2 (Classic Ivory)--if you have extremely fair, porcelain colored skin, this color is for you! The cushion lets foundation seep through and works perfect on a foundation brush. You control how much foundation is released--it is NOT messy at all! $15.99.
PHYSICIANS FORMULA BUTTER BRONZER
One of my favorite bronzers, hands down! I've always loved Physicians Formula for their more natural, skin-friendly products, and this bronzer is no exception. There is a Light and Regular formula of the bronzer, and I of course selected Light. Even Light is quite dark and well pigmented. You don't need a ton to achieve greatness with this bronzer! $14.39.
L'OREAL MAGIC LUMI LIGHT INFUSING PRIMER
My new go-to primer, no questions asked. The Magic Lumi primer from L'Oreal is smooth as satin and adheres to my skin perfectly with no irritation at all. It can be hard to find a primer that feels good - a lot of them have felt like I was rubbing straight wax or olive oil on my skin and it did not feel good. This one is a keeper! $12.99.
MAYBELLINE MASTER CONCEALER
This master concealer is a dream. I've never needed much concealer--I don't suffer from undereye puffiness or lines (yet - knock on wood!), nor do I have any bad acne. I'm aware I've been very blessed with my skin, however I do deal with major redness on my cheeks. This is usually resolved by a good coverage foundation and setting powder.
As for concealer, I squeeze a teeny bit on my middle finger and dab three times under each eye, blending in with my beauty sponge. I also need concealer on my chin due to a deep red birthmark I was born with, so, I dab three more times on my chin as well and blend out. $7.99.
NYX LIQUID SUEDE CREAM LIPSTICKS
I am IN LOVE with NYX's line of liquid suede cream lipsticks. These lipsticks go on like a lipgloss, but dry matte and luxurious! I got the "Brooklyn Thorn" color and later went back and purchased "Life's a Beach" orangey pink shade. Loving and wearing them almost every day. $6.99.
NYX MATTE FINISH SETTING SPRAY
Another (and final) must-have is the NYX setting spray. I've tried both matte and dewy formulas and much prefer matte. This doesn't dry your skin out and is actually quite refreshing. After you're done with all your makeup, just get a little spritz happy and lay it on ya! $7.99.
Do you own any of these products? Which are you most excited to purchase?
