DIY : Romantic Personalized Photo Album

Last week, I made a special DIY for my honey's birthday... it's an item we can keep around our apartment that will always serve as a loving sentiment we can look at whenever we have a rough day, allowing us to reflect upon all of our wonderful memories. You can easily create this DIY for yourself in a few simple steps!

What You'll Need:

  • A photo album of your choice
  • Printed photos that fit your album
  • A Sharpie marker
I bought my polka-dotted, black and white photo album (that holds traditional 4x6 photos) from Jo-Ann Fabrics and Crafts, and printed my photos off at my local drugstore (although I have a photo printer at home, I must admit: it is much cheaper to print your photos off in bulk at a store like RiteAid or Walgreens).

I began by organizing the photos in a way I thought was best fitting to either the event/vacation/memory, etc., and then flipped them over and numbered each, writing a short message about something I fondly appreciate about our relationship. In addition to writing the sweet snippet, I also dated and labeled the photos in relation to the memory. This helps when (hopefully) you are looking back on it years later, and can't remember where you took the selfie!

After this process is finished, your photo album is ready for gifting, and your special someone (whether it's your partner, best friend, or even your family member) will be feelin' the love!
