True to the Blue: An Evening at Safeco Field

On Thursday, Jared, myself and my parents spent our evening at Safeco Field in Seattle, Washington--home of MLB's Seattle Mariners. Thursday was "Bark at the Park" night, so naturally the stadium was filled with pups of all shapes and sizes.

I love the feeling our stadium and fans bring to the experience of nights at the ballpark. Nothin' quite beats the smell of grease, beer and cotton candy, nor the hustle and bustle of thousands of moving bodies, eagerly shuffling to their seats.

I'm never opposed to men stretching in tight pants, either.

The Mariners were up against the Los Angeles Angels, finishing strong at a final score of 7-2, although it took through the 9th inning to declare a win due to a review in the game at the last second.

Nights out with the family are best spent enjoying sports and Safeco Field's famous garlic fries! I highly recommend it.
