Here's a recap of some of my personal faves and four EOs that have been proven to reduce the blues, nerves and overwhelm!
This one may be a common sense sorta situation, and it's still one of my ride or dies. Lavender promotes great sleep and relaxation, the perfect floral scent for stress relief. It works great as potpourri around the home, in homemade cuticle cream and stuffed in pillow packs!
Rose might surprise you as a stress reliever, its strong, recognizable scent uplifts our spirits and is said to have the highest vibrational frequency of any other EO, healing you from the inside out. It is perfect added to your regular skincare regimen, massaged over the heart or used to remedy skin blemishes/imperfections.
Another favorite scent of mine, Grapefruit is citrus love at its best! Grapefruit helps ease your mental and physical fatigue, decrease anxiousness and overall uplift with its citrus self. It's great to diffuse when you're studying or reading to increase focus, apply to insect bites and add to your bath water to rid the stress.
Cedarwood, known for its earthy, woodsy scent that is warming and inviting, is the most masculine of all four scents I'm highlighting today. It makes a fabulous at-home scalp massage and is a great addition to lotions and skincare items.
