Blog Post Planner - Freebie Printable Worksheet
Hi, gorgeous blogger! If you clicked to this post, I can only assume that you're looking for solutions that will make your blogging experience easier. That's why I've created this blog post planner freebie, a printable worksheet for ya!
In order to present your blog well and put your best foot forward, there's a few aspects of your blog posts that you cannot miss:
- Keyword. Your keyword allows search engines to properly rank your blog and for your new readers to find you based on the words they are searching. Long-tail keywords are wise. Trying to rank for a short keyword, like "food blog" is impossible. You want to rank for "vegetarian and gluten-free cornbread recipe" instead, for example.
- Graphic (or image). Your graphic is your chance to give a visual representation of your post on Pinterest and other social media platforms and in many instances is your only chance to make an impression that motivates people to click through to your post. A good, vertical sized Pinterest image is the best to make your post irresistibly pinnable!
- Call-to-Action. Obviously, a CTA is your ticket to converting people into your offer, whether that's your newest ebook, a webinar or ecourse or your email list. Every blog post needs a solid CTA, but each blog post may have a different offer tied to it.
- Social Shares. Once you hit "publish", it's necessary to add your post to StumbleUpon, as well as share it on your blog's Facebook page, tweet it, write a post about it on Instagram (I prefer micro-blogging) and pin your graphic to your own profile on a designated board (and group boards).
This blog planner printable is an update to my old blogger's productivity checklist, however it focuses on the planning aspect of publishing a blog post more than the whole process of blogging.
