The Best DIY Spa Treatments for a Dry Summer
If you've read my posts on the blog before, you might already know that I'm a lover of a good DIY! I love a do-it-yourself project that not only saves me money, but also really works and does a great job. I have a lot of allergies and I'm pretty prone to skin irritations, so in my beauty regimen I try to stick to as many pure and simple things as I possibly can. That's why I love DIY spa treatments.
My lotions, shampoos, and hair masks are all organic and as raw and authentic as possible. This is great for your body and the less preservatives and fake things you expose yourself to, the better. But this natural lifestyle I try to live can come with a pretty intense pricetag that I'm not always prepared to pay for!
When summer comes around, your body may be exposed to dry weather, direct sun and maybe even dehydration! These things are amplified in the summer and can really mess you up. Companies like LUSH provide a good alternative if you're too scared or don't have the time to DIY, but if you're ultimately looking to save a few bucks like me, I have rounded up my favorite Pinterest recipes to keep yourself feeling smooth and hydrated during these dry summer months!
