Give These 7 Drugstore Makeup Products a Chance in 2017

Let's face it: there's a time when we're all broke and looking for cheap alternatives to makeup. Drugstore makeup products are saviors when it comes to our wallets. In 2016, I experimented with makeup the most I ever have. I picked my 7 drugstore favorites you've gotta try in 2017 if you haven't already!

FACESTUDIO MASTER CONCEAL BY MAYBELLINE

This master conceal concealer from Maybelline is a JOY! Great, thick coverage in a variety of shades at only $8.99 is what I'm all about. I use this on my chin (I have a dark birthmark), t-zone and under my eyes.

NYX MATTE SETTING SPRAY

Just $8, the NYX matte-finish setting spray is my favorite makeup spray. Their setting spray also comes in a dewy-finish, but I'm a matte gal! I've tried the similar product from elf and it started to cake my makeup in little spots all over my cheeks - I don't think I'll ever depart from my dear NYX!

WET N WILD COLOR ICON BLUSH

Probably one of my favorite blushes of all time, the wet n wild Color Icon blush has incredible pigment and offers quite a lot of product in one pan. My favorite shade is Mellow Wine, a nice darker pink. Each blush is $2.99 - NO LIE!

PHYSICIANS FORMULA BUTTER BRONZER

I'm not sure the significance of "Murumuru" (I just noticed this on their online listing) in this Physicians Formula butter bronzer, but I am obsessed with this product. I get the "Light Bronzer" shade because I have such a pale complexion. At $14.95, you won't be disappointed. My favorite feature? You can build the product easily without getting stuck with a crap ton all at once.

FIT ME MAYBELLINE FOUNDATION

The Fit Me matte & poreless liquid foundation from Maybelline is a life saver. If you can't buy a $30 bottle of liquid foundation (some people even spend $90!), this one at $7.99 is just for you. Designed for normal to oily skin, this foundation isn't the best for dry skin, but I assume would be perfect for summer combination skin. Definitely worth the money!

MAYBELLINE DREAM CUSHION LIQUID FOUNDATION

If you're a fan of the cushion foundations (the circular pots with the sponge that you dip your brush into - no, I don't use the sponge applicator that comes with them), you'll like the Maybelline dream cushion liquid foundation. Keep in mind that these may be a better match for dry skin and may add a dewy glow, as advertised: "luminous". It's quite nice coverage for $15.99.

NYX LIQUID SUEDE CREAM LIPSTICK

Gorgeous NYX liquid suede cream lipsticks come in a variety of colors and are a great dupe for Kylie Cosmetics (that are ridiculously overpriced, let's be honest: you're paying for the brand). They're also waterproof and last forever! Just $7 per lipstick. My favorite color is Brooklyn Thorn and I get a lot of comments on my Instagram asking what color it is - a must-have deep purple-ish brown.
