As a fiercely loving business owner, I'm all about making sure my clients feel appreciated and acknowledged! Even though they are my clients (and not my friends), it's so important to me that they know how much they mean to me. You can make sure your clients feel special this holiday season, too!
Here's 5 of my favorite ways to appreciate my clients:
Write a personalized card
You know, similar to the good ol' days when people sent physical holiday cards to family and friends (some still do, I know...)! Grab an adorable little card set and send personalized caring cards to your clients, thanking them for being with you this past year and saying something special about their brand/what they offer.
Buy them a little something
Nobody hates chocolate, am I right!? Sending a small gift of chocolates or something similar is a great gesture of appreciation without making it awkward - the last thing you want to do is break client/business boundaries and spoil them with gifts. A little something is nice, just remember your relationship!
Bake them some classic cookies
If you're a Christmas cookie baker, baking them some classic Christmas cookies can be more personal and kind. This helps if you live closeby your clients - it may be difficult to ship fresh baked cookies in the mail! ;)
Give a discount on a new service
It's never too late to offer a discount on a new service! Or, perhaps a discount that you know they've been mulling over for some time. This is an equally great idea for products or services you are just launching in the new year - allow your clients to snag a discount as an early bird promotion!
Offer a free evaluation
As a digital marketer, I'm constantly learning new tricks of the trade and new trends are always popping up. Perhaps I'm working on a website for a client, but they don't have an active social media presence.
Offering to give them a free evaluation of their presence on other platforms is a way I can give back my services without being overbearing and asking them to purchase more. If they enjoy my insights, they can hire me - plain and simple!
This is a way to generate more leads within your current client base while providing something of value that is initially free of charge.
What do you do to make your clients feel extra special this holiday season?
