Beat Acne and Soothe Sensitive Skin with Natural Riversol Skincare

Today, we're reviewing Riversol, a skincare brand founded by Dr. Jason Rivers--a world renowned, board-certified dermatologist. Riversol is ideal for people with sensitive skin who are looking for a natural line that will help them achieve a flawless, healthy-looking complexion.

A little more history on Dr. Rivers: he has been busy operating his private practice in Vancouver, British Columbia for over 30 years. He is also a Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of British Columbia, the Regional Director of the Canadian Dermatology Association's Sun Awareness and Skin Cancer Prevention Program, the President of the Canadian Society for Dermatologic Surgery and President of the Board of Directors for the Acne and Rosacea Society of Canada. He has appeared as a leading skincare expert in top media outlets like Global TV, Flare, Glow, Yahoo! Style, The National Post, Chatelaine, ELLE Canada, The Huffington Post and more.

Whether Dr. Rivers was helping patients with rosacea, eczema, dryness or another skin condition, he was constantly searching for new and wonderful products designed for sensitive skin. Then he discovered Beta-Thujaplicin (Beta-T) --a gentle but potent antioxidant derived from the Pacific red cedar tree that grows in lush forests and the mountainsides of the Pacific Northwest. Over time, the Beta-T calmed and soothed super sensitive skin, helped with its texture and reduced the visible signs of aging. Riversol is the only skincare to use Beta-T, which is found in each of their powerful products.

We were both so thrilled when James from Riversol reached out to us. Kathryn and Emma both received the foaming gel cleanser, anti-aging reparative serum and revitalizing moisturizing lotion filled with great ingredients including Vitamin E, Vitamin C and sea kelp. Kathryn started out with minor problem areas, some redness and small bits of acne. She was hoping that the new regimen would even out her skin coloration and smooth the skin.

Afterwards, Kathryn noticed a lot less patchy red blotches on her face, little-to-no acne and a much softer, smooth appearance. While the changes weren't visibly drastic, at one point her boyfriend exclaimed: "Wow, your skin is so soft!" She knew it was the magic ingredients taking their time to prevent and improve the skin's condition over time, and that's good enough!

Emma never had skin problems that she felt were out of the ordinary or out of control. Like most young adults, she always dealt with oily skin or the occasional pimple. Her skin wasn't too bad, but it wasn't exactly where she wanted it to be. When she started using her regimen, her skin had recently developed a dry patch which was very new to her. She also had little scars that had been there for years. Her current lotion was aggravating her sensitive skin and making it all look worse. Emma tried lots of products over the years and had countless failures because her skin would react badly.

Riversol was different. Even after one use, her dry patch was gone and her skin felt really soft. Now that she's been using it for a few weeks, her skin definitely has a new elasticity it didn't have before. She highly recommends the moisturizer--it makes her skin feel so nourished and smooth! She's also noticed that a lot of her past scars are gone. She did have some acne happen during the trial run, but she suspects that it's mostly because she went off of her normal acne wash and on only the Riversol. With her skin so smooth and clean, it has made a huge difference in how makeup looks on her face. Foundation spreads, blends and looks a million times better. Going forward, she will add the acne wash back into her skincare routine, but she will keep using her Riversol!
