You guys! I picked up my very own iPhone 6 Plus today through Sprint, my favorite provider with the greatest helpful peeps. Anyone who knows me well is aware that I am a die-hard Apple fan for LIFE, so naturally I was going to upgrade to another Apple product. Until now, I've been an iPhone 5S user. I owned the phone for a year, and before that, I had an iPhone 4S. About six months ago, my boyfriend began leasing the iPhone 6 with Sprint's $100 bundle deal, including the additional lease of an iPad Mini. I was able to play around with Jared's iPhone 6 before I decided which to select for my most recent upgrade.
I chose to grab the iPhone 6 Plus over the iPhone 6 due to the larger screen size and crisper images. While virtually nothing is different between the two models in terms of camera, video or function specs, the size is a deal breaker for many. I've heard a variety of things about this model, either it is too large for some or it is just right for others. For me, it's just right. It allows me to watch YouTube videos and view Instagram photos on a decent sized screen while also fitting nicely in my purse.
I wanted to share my favorite applications that I consistently use with the iPhone. 99% of the following apps are FREE and easy to use.
- Messenger for Facebook
- Yelp (business reviews)
- MyFitnessPal (diet and fitness tracker)
- Canvas (used by schools for classes)
Entertainment / Shopping:
- Charlotte Russe
- Vinted (clothes swapping/selling)
- Online Banking
Image & Video Editors:
- Little Moments
- Rhonna Design
To decorate my new iPhone 6 Plus, I bought this beautiful Isaac Mizrahi New York case: black with white polka dots (and a special gold dot). I love anything slightly femme but also neutral!
